The Davey Microlene range welcomes the latest in point of use, under bench filtration – a 5-stage filtration and purification system all wrapped up with one handy cartridge. Enjoy the convenience and peace-of-mind that your water supply is free from nasty contaminants.
The 5-Stage, 1-micron water filtration process reduces bad taste and odour, chemicals (such as chlorine), sediment and Trihalomethane (THMs) whilst leaving all vital minerals in the water supply. It protects and removes up to 99.9% of harmful cysts like Giardia and Cryptosporidium. It also incorporates water softening beads for treating scale and hard water.
The new HF1M-R cartridge is also easy to install and replace with a simple connect and twist, and is one of the most cost effective water filtration and treatment options available.
Designed for both mains and rainwater applications, this cartridge has the ability to treat up to 65,000 litres of water or last 6 months - and if that’s not enough, it also comes with ASNZS4020 accreditation (Safe Drinking Water Standard for Australian / New Zealand).
HOW DOES THE CARTRIDGE FILTER AND TREAT YOUR WATER?
The water firstly passes through two sediment filter layers – that remove larger particles, rust and silt in the water. It then passes through a carbon filter layer removing chemicals such as chlorine/chloramine for taste and odour reduction filter and a finer sediment filter up to 1 micron and finally passing through water softening beads – that treat scaling and hard water.
Please note that if your water supply is rainwater – Davey recommend the use of a UV pre-treatment to ensure removal of bacteria and viruses.
HIGH FLOW UNDER BENCH FILTRATION SYSTEM - HF1M
Suitable for an application where there is an existing kitchen tap. There is no need to drill holes in benches or sinks, nor is there a need to install a separate filter tap. Filters all cold water flowing through the existing tap.
Cleverly mounts vertically or horizontally under the sink, and it draws water directly from the cold water line. All braided hoses and plumbing fittings are included for easy installation. Safe, convenient and a breeze to install.
